Ok this is going to be a very interesting post......
1) RegExp is a very useful syntax that can be used to perform powerful pattern-matching and searching.
THE SYNTAX IS: var txt=/pattern / modifiers ; ( pattern is txt or etc that we are looking for and modifiers specify how the search is going to be)
var str = " v-bloog welcome to v-bloog ";
var search1=/v-bloog/i; -> for a case insensitive search
document.write(str.match(search1));
result: v-bloog
var str = " v-bloog welcome to v-bloog ";
var search1=/v-bloog/g; -> for a global search
document.write(str.match(search1));
result: v-bloog,v-bloog
2) Test searches a string for a specific value and the response is a true/false value.
var search1 =new RegExp("v");
document.write(search1.test(" v-bloog welcome to v-bloog "));
result: true
3) Exec searches a string for a specific value and returns the value.
var search1 =new RegExp("v");
document.write(search1.exec(" v-bloog welcome to v-bloog "));
